Using the Google Tracking Code​

You can now use Google Tag Manager per project to read data from Innobrix projects, including Google Analytics.

Technical

Setting up Google Tag Manager is fairly technical and is best handled by a marketer or the project's site administrator.

In the Edit Project screen of the target project in Innobrix you can enter a Google Tracking Code. The ContainerID format is GTM-XXXXXX or G-XXXXXX.

Cookies​

A cookie banner is required when using the Google Tracking Code. The (optional) cookie banner is extended to let the Viewer visitor choose to allow only essential cookies. If chosen, the Google Tracking Code is still injected but with an anonymized IP address.

Once the cookie is set by the user, it can only be changed by deleting the Innobrix cookie and refreshing the page.
