Copying the model

It is possible to copy a model in the Library whereby an independent option list and material change is created. This means that changes to the option list within both the source and copy models do not affect the other option list.

Possible use cases for this are:

• Version management of your models.
• Phased project where the same house types are used but prices may differ.
• Home types where the Revit groups set-up has mostly the same Innobrix parameter structure and options match but where only the geometry of the house is different (e.g. due to differentiation on bay size).

Copying a model can potentially save you hours of work, so use the feature wisely!
